ABC of DiscipleshipMEDDO (Congregational)Discipleship

The ABC of Discipleship is a four-session programme that can be used flexibly for outreach events, the basis for new communicant members classes or as a Bible study designed to deepen and foster the faith of each participant. The format of the four sessions will include vows, contextual bible studies, faith exercises and more – and each of these can be used as the leader or group considers appropriate. It uses the themes of Acceptance, Belonging, Commitment and interweaves these on our journey to discipleship.

Living the QuestionsMEDDO (Congregational)Discipleship

Living the Questions is a source of curriculum and media for both seekers and "church alumni/ae" convinced that Christianity still has relevance in the 21st Century. Providing a variety of flexible resources, Living the Questions can help people explore the future of Christianity and what a meaningful faith can look like in today's world People know that at its core, Christianity has something good to offer humanity. At the same time, many have a sense that they are alone in being a "thinking" Christian and that "salvaging" Christianity is a hopeless task. What is needed is a safe environment where people have permission to ask the questions they've always wanted to ask but have been afraid to voice for fear of being thought a heretic.

Freedom In Christ discipleship courseMEDDO (Congregational)Discipleship

The Freedom In Christ Discipleship Course is a proven and effective way for churches to help Christians become fruitful disciples. It involves 13 sessions and a ministry component called the Steps to Freedom in Christ. Churches normally run a session a week, with an Away Day for the Steps between Sessions 9 and 10, making it a 13-14 week course. However, there is some flexibility in how the course is run, and different options are laid out in the Leaders Guide to ensure you get the right fit for your situation. there is also a version tailored for use with young people.

Exploring the God QuestionMEDDO (Congregational)Discipleship

The core publication consists of three 1-hour DVDs, each in two 30-min parts. The three themes are: The Cosmos Life and Evolution Mind and Consciousness Within each DVD the format is that a large number of speakers are figured, usually talking informally to an off-camera interviewer. Their contributions are interspersed by comments from a narrator, and by visual images. A good number of these images are splendid photographs and graphic sequences of scientific subjects, from botanical to astronomical, more or less apposite to the adjacent spoken contributions. As well as "Exploring the God question" for adults, there is also a version "Introducing the God question" for young adults.
