About the Local Church Review and Implementation Committee
This Committee administers the Church’s local review scheme and supports Presbytery’s future work through its approved Plan for the future deployment of resources.
To administer the Local Church Review Scheme in accordance with Act I 2011 and in line with Presbytery policy. Local Church Review visits shall be carried out at the discretion of the Committee by means of the Local Church Review Teams. The Committee shall report the carrying out of such visits and its findings to Presbytery.
To implement parish appraisal matters in accordance with the Presbytery Plan.
To conduct an annual review of the Presbytery Plan.
To receive and consider all requests for amendments to parish boundaries and to negotiate amendments with Kirk Sessions.
