Motherwell: St Mary’s

Motherwell St Marys Parish Church

St Mary’s is in every sense a family church. Sunday by Sunday, well-attended services are held in our impressive church, designed by McGregor Chalmers and opened in 1914; throughout the week our halls are always busy, providing a base for a wide range of organisations and activities for all, from Toddlers to Senior Citizens. Some can remember parents and grandparents who formed the original congregation; today’s members at every age and stage of life have found a place in St Mary’s.

It is our purpose that our fellowship should reflect the family nature of God’s people. We are a broad, mainstream congregation of the Church of Scotland, inclusive in our approach and attitude. Our congregational life is based on a commitment to worship, to Christ’s service and to accepting the Lordship of Christ in all aspects of living.

Our services of worship and our organisations are open to all - find out more on our website.
